There arent alot of people that i could write this letter to other than my friends. Not the ones here in apopka but the ones from my hometown smyrna, De. This letter would be from the staff members at Dover Behavioral Health a mental hospital which i have been to 3 times. Im writing this letter because these people have really helped me when going through my problems with my mother. After the third time being admitted i noticed that i was much happier in the mental hospital than at home with my mother. So i was purposely admitted to Rockford Center which in a facility where my mother used to work so my stay there i was nothing but judge b staff members the only staff members that cared for me were the ones who didn't know my mother. I want to thank the staff members at DBH because they were there for me they finally noticed my mother was crazy and they were there to help me through the tough times. The staff members there took the time to sit down with me and talk to me about life. These staff member helped me get to the place where i am now. Thank you.

I learned SOOOO much about myself, and in General. They help you find your Triggers, your warning sighs, how to counteract them with coping skills and how to plan for the "Realistic" future. Majority of the staff are awesome at what they do and they are very nice. There will always be bad eggs in any employment place. For instance, the Nurse Practioner seems to make lots of inappropriate comments, and should have some senativity training. I believe she is just compation fagiued and need to get her head back in the game or fond something new to do.

I thought the food was on par with prison food, the beds did have cushions, though. The staff are pleasant more or less. The other patients may try your nerves. One negative that must seriously be addressed, if one has an emergency in their life outside of the hospital or a job, patient are at a lock down facility. There must be a way for individuals to be able if the feel stable, to be fast tracked out to take care of their responsibilities. THIS IS A MAJOR CONCERN in my opinion. If you want to network with other drug users to relapse this place might be a good option. The biggest negative was when the TV`s broke after lightning hit the building, ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE!!!! I`m sure the TV`s will be fixed most promptly. They do hold the snacks hostage if you don`t do your "wrap up". All and all I think I`ll give DBH 3 stars. I was so nice, I think I`ll come back thrice. Cheers to all whom may work there. If you are a consumer/client/patient, hope ya find what your looking for. Hear is wishes for peace of mind in a sometimes confusing world!
